Shane Krauser is the director of Veritas Debate Academy and is passionate about America, her charters of freedom, the homeschooling community, and the future of our children. He has been called "the best instructor of the Constitution and freedom in the country" and has spoken all over the world. He founded Veritas Debate Academy in order to educate our young people in a way that will revolutionize their thinking, demeanor and influence.

Author of two books, “Your Nation to Save” and “What is Freedom? Is It For You,” that outline the parameters of more responsible, streamlined government and how the citizenry can play a more effective role in preserving freedom. Co-author of The Arizona Gun Owner's Guide.
Adjunct Professor
Taught Constitutional Law, Substantive Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Criminal Justice, and Business Law for over a decade at the collegiate level. Spoken as a guest lecturer at colleges throughout America.
Law Enforcement Instructor
Taught at the Phoenix and Glendale police academies, where he trained incoming cadets, along with patrol officers who were vying for the opportunity to advance in rank as detectives and sergeants.
International Speaker
Over 3,000 speaking engagements internationally, including Canada, Mexico and Peru, on topics including leadership, freedom, the proper role of government, and the parameters of the U.S. and state constitutions. Faced off in numerous debates on stages nationwide.

Radio talk show host for three years where he addressed a broad array of issues that are impacting mainstream America.

Along with his wife, Janelle, served in a variety of leadership positions in their community, church and business over the past 30 years.
Trial Lawyer
Prosecutor:
Twelve years as a Deputy County Attorney (prosecutor) with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office where he worked in a number of different capacities, including a gang/homicide prosecutor in addition to leading a team of more than 20 prosecutors.
Defense Attorney:
Two years as a partner with an Arizona-based law firm where he worked as a criminal defense attorney.
High-Level Engagement
Involved in a number of actions that had national implications, including the Oklahoma City bombing case (1990's), victims' rights legislation, U.S. Supreme Court litigation (Dickerson v. U.S.), and the drafting of Utah's Actual Innocence bill. National Moot Court Team member at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.
Education
Shane Krauser did his undergraduate work (B.A.) at Arizona State University and received his law degree (J.D.) from the University of Utah.

While Shane was raised in Mesa, Arizona, he currently resides in Gilbert, Arizona with his wife and children.
Shane is a family man.
Shane married his wife, Janelle, in 1994, and together they have six children. It is in their home that Shane believes leadership is most important, as he and his wife have helped their children thrive in a variety of capacities, including understanding the uniqueness of America and why she is worth defending. Shane and Janelle met in Arizona. After Shane finished his undergraduate work at Arizona State University, they left to attend law school at the University of Utah and returned to Arizona shortly thereafter.

Retiring as a trial lawyer in 2014, he has focused on using his time, talent, and treasure to educate the younger generation about America, her charters of freedom, and how to restore our republic, along with debate, persuasion, and public speaking
